TV ONEs brand new local series, Unsung Heroes follows the far-reaching and diverse work of these volunteers. From the paramedics tending to medical emergencies on the street, to the fire fighters teaching the dangers of drunk driving to young people, these people give back to their communities. Unsung Heroes follows well-known Kiwi volunteer agencies such as the SPCA, St Johns and the Maori Wardens as they endeavour to help others. These groups all have one thing in common their work wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for volunteers.
